Position: Business Analyst/Product Owner

Employment Type: 12-month contract (renewable)

Location: MSB (Menara Southern Bank), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Working Arrangement: Onsite, 5 days a week (Mondays-Fridays)

Working Hours in MY time: 9AM - 6PM

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst/ Product Owner to support the delivery of digital initiatives, enhancements, and projects across CIMB OCTO Web, OCTO Mobile, and Wealth platforms. The role will focus on requirements management, customer journey improvement, testing, governance, and production support within a fast-paced digital banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives, enhancements, and projects across OCTO Web, Mobile, and Wealth platforms.
• Analyse and define business requirements, prepare user stories, BRDs, approval papers, and governance documents.
• Support UAT, regression testing, production validation, and production issue resolution within agreed SLAs.
• Drive customer journey improvements, digital adoption, self-service capabilities, automation, and process optimisation.
• Collaborate with business, operations, technology, design, and other stakeholders using customer-centric and data-driven approaches.
• Support digital banking strategy and roadmap initiatives across banking, wealth, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Management roles, preferably within digital or financial services.
• Hands-on experience with Figma, Jira, Confluence, Agile environments, and both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong experience in business requirements, user stories, customer journey mapping, process optimisation, and digital product delivery.
• Knowledge of digital banking, internet banking, and mobile applications is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer-centric, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
