Position Requirement
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Preferably 3 years’ experience in supervision of maintenance activities of Mechanical & Electrical systems in a shopping mall or high-rise building.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Provide strong motivational and leadership skills.
- Able to work on rotation shift.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth, safe, and continuous operation of all building systems, M&E equipment, facilities and the building gas system.
- Plan, schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance (PM) activities in accordance with approved maintenance schedules and requirements.
- Supervise and monitor technicians to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance jobs are properly carried out and completed within the required timeline.
- Monitor equipment and system performance, identify potential issues and minimize breakdowns, downtime and operational disruptions.
- Lead troubleshooting activities, identify root causes of system failures and provide appropriate technical solutions.
- Support system conversion, changeover, improvement projects and other special site activities while ensuring safe working practices.
- Conduct regular inspections of M&E equipment, systems and facilities and ensure defects are identified, reported, rectified and properly closed.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on maintenance activities, job completion, system performance, defects and operational matters.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers for defect rectification, repair, maintenance and ad-hoc works, ensuring timely completion and compliance with site requirements.
- Source, evaluate, and recommend quotations for repair works, maintenance services, spare parts and other site requirements.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure all works comply with safety, quality, operational and client requirements.
- Monitor technicians’ daily activities, work performance, discipline and productivity and provide guidance and support where required.
- Train and guide technicians on system operation, maintenance procedures, safety requirements and standard operating practices.
- Promote continuous improvement and technical competency development within the maintenance team.
- Manage maintenance store activities, including spare parts control, inventory management, stock monitoring and 5S implementation.
- Ensure all maintenance and facility activities comply with safety regulations, company procedures, client requirements and occupational health and safety standards.
- Work closely with the Site Leader to achieve KPI, MBO, operational and maintenance performance targets.
- Support site improvement, system optimization and facility enhancement initiatives.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior from time to time.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
