To manage and administer the Central Store operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, timely distribution of resources to business units, and effective coordination with vendors for maintenance and service performance, to support smooth cargo operations.
Key Accountabilities
Drive continuous improvement in inventory control processes and store administration.
Support digitalization and system accuracy for Logistic Management System (LMS) and inventory records.
Identify opportunities to improve resource utilization, stock visibility, and cost efficiency.
Contribute to process enhancements relating to procurement, asset tracking, and vendor management
Administer MAB Kargo Central Store operations, ensuring proper inventory control and documentation.
Maintain inventory of scanners, walkie-talkies, stationery, barcode labels, ribbons, and other operational resources.
Coordinate stock replenishment and distribution to business units based on operational requirements.
Raise purchase requisitions, monitor purchase orders, and track vendor deliveries.
Coordinate equipment repair and replacement with vendors and relevant departments.
Prepare Low Value Purchase online form for ad hoc property, maintenance, Ground Support Equipment repair works, and spare parts procurement.
Monitor vendor performance and compliance with agreed service levels.
Update customer airline flight schedules in Cargo LMS accurately and timely.
Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, vendors, Finance, Admin Property, and operational teams.
Demonstrate compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and governance requirements.
Foster teamwork and knowledge sharing to ensure smooth operational support.
Provide timely updates to supervisors on inventory, procurement, and operational issues.
Qualifications and Years of Experience
Minimum SPM, SPMV,DVM or Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
1–3 years of relevant experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
Previous internship or practical experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, or supply chain would be an added advantage.
Areas of Experience
Basic knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain processes.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory records and documentation.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and able to work effectively with different departments.
