Role Description The Technical Lead at ************* is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya. This role is responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of core platform components, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of AI-driven recruitment solutions. The Technical Lead will guide engineering best practices, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members while collaborating closely with product, data, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing system architecture, coordinating sprint planning, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring secure and efficient integration with external systems. The role also involves continuous improvement of development processes, monitoring production systems, and contributing hands-on to coding and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering skills in languages such as .NET, Python, or Node.js, with experience building scalable web applications and APIs.
• Proven experience in system architecture and design, including microservices, cloud-native applications, and integration with third-party platforms.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructures (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of databases and data storage, including relational and NoSQL technologies, and performance optimization techniques.
• Background in leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, and driving engineering best practices and code quality standards.
• Experience collaborating with product and data teams, particularly in AI, machine learning, or data-driven platforms, is highly beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable information for diverse stakeholders.
