Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur for a Architectural Designer. The Designer will oversee the architectural design process, ensure the preparation and submission of design submittals, and manage projects from concept to completion. The role entails collaboration with clients, consultants, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and produce schematic, design development, and construction documentation drawings
• Prepare 2D drawings (AutoCAD) and 3D models/renders (SketchUp, Revit, or similar) for client presentations
• Coordinate with consultants to ensure design intent is reflected in technical drawings
• Prepare and update material/finishes schedules, specifications, and mood boards
• Support site measurements and site visits when required
• Attend design review meetings and incorporate feedback into drawings
• Support senior architects/principals in client presentations

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or related field
•  2-3 years relevant experience (Fresh grads welcome to apply)
•  Portfolio of design work required (academic or professional)

Required Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD (must-have)
• SketchUp / Revit / 3ds Max for 3D modelling and rendering
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) for presentation boards
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Strong attention to detail
• Good time management, able to handle multiple projects/deadlines
• Team player, able to take direction and feedback well
• Good communication skills 
• Creative problem-solving mindset
• Able to work under pressure / fast pace, proactive
