About The Job

As the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Manager, you will serve as the technical lead for all M&E and building services across our property development portfolio. Operating throughout the full project lifecycle, you will oversee everything from initial concept design and authority submissions to site execution, testing and commissioning, and final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Technical Oversight: Evaluate, review, and refine M&E designs (HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection, and BMS) across residential, commercial, and township projects.
• On-Site Project Management: Supervise main contractors, specialist sub-contractors, and engineering consultants to ensure installation quality, schedule compliance, and budget alignment.
• Regulatory Compliance & Utility Liaison: Lead technical interactions and submissions with local statutory bodies, regional energy and water utilities, and fire safety departments.
• Value Engineering: Identify design efficiencies, cost-saving initiatives, and energy-conscious solutions without sacrificing performance, safety, or build quality.
• QA/QC & Handover: Establish rigorous quality assurance standards and manage comprehensive testing and commissioning (T&C) processes prior to project completion.
  
  

Skills Or Qualifications Needed

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive M&E management experience within property development, main contracting, or technical consultancy environments.
• Proven track record in managing complex building services for mixed-use developments, high-rises, or large-scale townships.
• Strong working knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and regional utility compliance standards.
