Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full stack developer to join our engineering team based in KL Malaysia and take a key role in the development and evolution of our core product.

You will work across the frontend and backend of the product, taking features from initial requirements through design, development, testing deployment and ongoing improvement. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to build a scalable and high-quality product that delivers real value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the core product across both frontend and backend.
• Design and implement new product features from requirements through to production.
• Work closely with product team to turn business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Build responsive, intuitive and high performing user interface.
• Develop reliable APIs, backend services, integrations and supporting functionality.
• Investigate and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production problems.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
• Develop automated tests to maintain product quality and stability.
• Work as part of an Agile product development team.

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience of real-world experience in developing front end applications
• Node.js development skills
• TypeScript/JavaScript development skills (Angular, AngularJS, vue.js)
• NoSQL (MongoDB) database development skills
• Application design and development
• Architect Enterpryze platform solutions
• 3rd level education in technology is required

Desirable, but not essential:

• Understanding of Agile and SCRUM
• Understanding of the MEAN Stack specifics
• Experience in Docker/Kubernetes based deployment (e.g. AWS)
• Experience with Continuous Delivery processes and tools
