EI Power Technologies Sdn Bhd is looking for a Mechanical BIM Modeller to join our project team supporting the delivery of data centre and mission-critical infrastructure projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating mechanical BIM models, preparing construction and shop drawings, and supporting multidisciplinary coordination to ensure accurate and clash-free installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed mechanical BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Model mechanical systems including chilled water piping, HVAC ductwork, CRAH/CRAC units, cooling towers and associated mechanical equipment.
- Perform 3D spatial coordination and clash detection using Navisworks Manage.
- Coordinate mechanical services with structural, architectural and electrical disciplines.
- Prepare mechanical shop drawings, spool drawings, sections and installation details.
- Prepare builders' work drawings and sleeve / penetration layouts.
- Support BIM coordination meetings and resolve modelling and coordination issues.
- Review drawings and models to identify clashes, access requirements and installation constraints.
- Assist with material schedules and BIM information required for prefabrication and site installation.
- Update BIM models based on approved design changes and as-built site conditions.
- Work closely with Project Engineers, BIM Coordinators, subcontractors and site teams.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, BIM, Engineering Drafting or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of BIM modelling experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data centre, mission-critical, semiconductor, pharmaceutical or industrial projects is preferred.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit – Mechanical / Piping.
- Proficient in Navisworks Manage.
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360.
- Experience with Autodesk ReCap, SysQue or point cloud modelling will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of HVAC systems, chilled water systems, ductwork, piping, pumps, valves and mechanical equipment.
- Able to read and interpret mechanical, structural and architectural drawings.
- Good understanding of BIM coordination and clash detection.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight project deadlines.
- Willing to work at project sites when required.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
