We're looking for an energetic, creative, and people-oriented Event Host & Planner to bring our birthday parties, private events, corporate functions and celebrations to life!

About the Role

You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and hosting events at Cheeky Chewies — from birthday parties and private functions to corporate gatherings, celebrations and special events.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning

• Plan and coordinate events from initial enquiry to completion.
• Communicate with customers to understand their event requirements, budget and expectations.
• Prepare event packages, quotations and proposals.
• Coordinate food, decorations, entertainment, activities and other event requirements.
• Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure smooth event operations.
• Coordinate with external vendors, entertainers and suppliers when required.
• Ensure all event details are properly arranged before the event day.

Event Hosting

• Welcome and engage guests during events.
• Host and coordinate activities, games and programmes.
• Make announcements and keep the event running according to schedule.
• Create a fun, friendly and energetic atmosphere.
• Handle unexpected situations professionally during events.
• Ensure customers and guests have a memorable experience.

Sales & Customer Service

• Respond to event enquiries through WhatsApp, phone and social media.
• Follow up with potential customers and convert enquiries into bookings.
• Recommend suitable event packages and upsell additional services.
• Maintain good relationships with customers and encourage repeat bookings.
• Collect customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve our events.

Requirements

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident and comfortable speaking in front of groups.
• Energetic, friendly and outgoing personality.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Able to multitask and work under pressure.
• Customer-service oriented.
• Experience in event planning, hospitality, F&B or event hosting is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with the right attitude are welcome to apply.
• Able to work weekends and public holidays when events are scheduled.
