Role Description The Information System (IS) Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at York Hotel Singapore in Orchard. This role is responsible for overseeing the hotel’s information systems and IT infrastructure, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient operations across all departments. Day-to-day tasks include managing system administration, monitoring network and server performance, and coordinating technical support for hotel team members. The IS Manager will plan and implement system upgrades, software deployments, and data backup procedures, while maintaining compliance with relevant security and data protection standards. The role also involves collaborating with management to align IT strategies with business goals, analyzing system performance, and recommending improvements to enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Information Systems and Information Technology, including hotel or hospitality systems where possible.
• Proficiency in System Administration tasks such as user management, server configuration, and network monitoring.
• Experience providing Technical Support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and coordinating with external vendors.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills to assess system performance, identify risks, and recommend effective solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in managing IT operations in a hospitality or service-oriented environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, data privacy standards, and backup/recovery procedures.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage projects, and respond promptly to operational needs.
• Singaporean or Permanent Resident Preferred.
