Job Description

TheProject Engineer will provide overall support to the Project Manager in theplanning, execution, coordination, and successful completion of EPC projects.The role involves supporting engineering, procurement, construction,installation, testing, and commissioning activities while ensuring projects aredelivered safely, within budget, on schedule, and according to qualityrequirements.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Provide overall project support to the Project Manager in managing projectexecution from engineering phase through construction, installation, testing,commissioning, and final handover.
• Support EPC project activities including engineering coordination,procurement follow-up, construction planning, site installation, andcommissioning activities.
• Assist in building and installation works for offshore generator and firepump systems.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage onsite installation activities, includingsupervision of project team, technicians, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Support project planning activities including project schedule preparation,progress monitoring, manpower planning, resource allocation, and materialtake-off (MTO).
• Assist the Project Manager in monitoring project cost, time, quality, andoverall project performance to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, andcommissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, andconstruction documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Support construction activities by coordinating site works, resolvingtechnical issues, and ensuring proper installation practices are followed.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, shipyards, subcontractors, and suppliers onproject requirements, technical matters, progress updates, and meetings.
• Assist in subcontractor and supplier coordination, including commercialdiscussions and technical clarifications where required.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports, inspection records,quality documents, and project status updates.
• Identify potential project risks, construction challenges, and safetyhazards, and support the implementation of mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirementsthroughout project execution.
• Support project completion activities including testing, commissioning,troubleshooting, documentation, and final project handover.
• Assist in ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, andmeet customer expectations.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering,Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in Oil & Gas, Energy,Marine, Offshore, or Industrial projects.
• Experience in M&E systems, equipment installation, integration, testing,and commissioning.
• Experience in EPC project execution covering engineering coordination,procurement support, construction activities, and commissioning will be anadvantage.
• Good understanding of construction processes, site management, installationmethodologies, and subcontractor coordination.
• Experience managing medium-sized projects from engineering stage throughconstruction and final completion.
• Previous experience in offshore projects, marine projects, shipyardenvironments, power generation, or energy-related projects preferred.
• Strong project management knowledge including cost control, schedulemanagement, quality management, manpower planning, and risk management.
• Commercial awareness and experience coordinating with subcontractors andsuppliers.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, andtechnical documents.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, construction modelling software, or energy modellingsoftware will be an advantage.
• Relevant safety certifications will be an advantage:

• Workplace Safety and Health Risk Management Course
