About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and responsible Accounts Executive to support the Finance team in managing the company's day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting reporting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full or partial sets of accounts, depending on business requirements.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, schedules, and account reconciliations.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor customer collections and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Process supplier payments and ensure timely settlement of invoices.
• Assist with GST submissions, tax filings, and statutory compliance.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing the necessary documentation.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, government authorities, and other external stakeholders when required.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
• Perform any other accounting or administrative duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and GST regulations is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, MYOB, or Microsoft Dynamics is an added advantage.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
