Juyi International Consultancy Pte. Ltd. is the parent company of five Singaporean firms offering management consultancy, private education, tuition, accounting, and corporate secretarial services, serving clients in Singapore and mainland China.

Job Summary

Join Juyi International Consultancy as the Group Accountant, leading financial statement preparation, tax compliance, and accounting platform development to support group growth and client services across Singapore and China.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize the parent company’s financial statements from incorporation using bank statements, contracts, and source documents to produce tax computations and filings.
• Consolidate subsidiaries’ financial records, align reporting dates, and build group financial statements under Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
• Prepare and file unaudited financial statements, corporate tax returns, and GST returns; maintain a statutory compliance calendar covering ACRA, IRAS, and CPF obligations for all entities.
• Maintain up-to-date accounting records daily on the group’s accounting platform during its development phase; manage full sets of accounts for group companies and clients.
• Own the accounting platform’s chart of accounts and recognition policies; develop and document operating procedures; review system outputs against actual transactions and approve each software release.
• Design and enforce internal controls ensuring separation of duties for transaction entry, review, and approval.
• Deliver accounting and bookkeeping services to external clients, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, government agencies, and clients, including entities in mainland China, on accounting and financial matters.
• Supervise and mentor entry-level and junior accounting staff as the team expands.
• Support management with budgeting, cash flow planning, financial analysis, and business advisory projects.

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum five years of relevant accounting experience in Singapore managing full sets of accounts end to end.
• Proven ability to produce unaudited financial statements and prepare and file GST and corporate tax returns.
• Experience reconstructing accounting records from incomplete data.
• Recognised accounting qualification such as Chartered Accountant of Singapore, ACCA, or a Degree/Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with group entities and clients in mainland China.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, GST, corporate taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software with strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to perform daily bookkeeping during the accounting platform build phase.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience in an accounting firm, corporate services provider, business consultancy, or outsourced accounting environment.
• Experience implementing or migrating accounting systems.

• Salary range: SGD 4,000 to SGD 7,000 per month, commensurate with experience and dedication.
