The Role
Our client, a global organisation, is looking for a Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer to join their technology team. This role has a strong focus on Microsoft 365, Cloud, Identity and Enterprise Infrastructure.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting enterprise systems across a global environment, while acting as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues and infrastructure initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and support Microsoft 365 and enterprise infrastructure solutions.
- Manage Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Microsoft Defender and Conditional Access.
- Support Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO and Exchange environments.
- Manage Azure, VMware vSphere, Horizon VDI and Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Develop automation using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
- Support infrastructure security, PKI/certificates and compliance requirements.
- Manage backup, disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
- Lead and resolve complex P1/P2 incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Contribute to infrastructure architecture, roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Microsoft 365, Identity, Cloud, Virtualisation or Automation.
- Collaborate with global technology teams across multiple time zones.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, particularly:
- Entra ID
- Intune / Endpoint Manager
- Exchange Online
- Microsoft Defender
- Conditional Access
- Strong Windows Server and Active Directory experience.
- Experience with Azure and/or VMware environments.
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph API is advantageous.
- Knowledge of enterprise backup/DR solutions such as Rubrik, NetBackup or Commvault.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible or Azure DevOps is a plus.
- Experience working in a global/follow-the-sun environment.
- Experience within financial services or another regulated environment is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with global stakeholders.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday.
- Global follow-the-sun support model.
- Working hours may start as early as 7:00 AM SGT depending on global coverage requirements.
- Participation in an on-call rotation is required, including occasional weekend maintenance windows.
