Admin Assistant | Operations Role (Post-Exams Intake) | Business Operations & Professional Growth (Hiring This Week)
Operations Excellence | Professional Development | Real Business Exposure
Great operations are built by people who pay attention to the details, take responsibility for the outcome, and understand how their work contributes to the bigger picture.
As an Admin Assistant, you’ll gain practical exposure to the day-to-day operations of a professional business while working closely with experienced team members. You’ll be involved in the processes that keep projects moving, information organised, and teams working effectively.
This is more than an opportunity to build administrative experience. You’ll learn how to prioritise, solve problems, communicate effectively, and take initiative when something needs to be done. With guidance and hands-on experience, you’ll develop the confidence to work independently while learning how strong teams operate and support one another.
Role Focus
As an Admin Assistant, you’ll support the processes that keep the business organised, efficient, and moving forward.
You’ll work alongside experienced professionals across a range of administrative and operational activities, gaining exposure to how tasks are planned, coordinated, executed, and improved.
As you become more familiar with the work, you’ll be encouraged to look beyond simply completing a task — understanding why it matters, identifying ways to improve processes, and taking greater responsibility for your work.
What You'll Do
Support day-to-day business operations by coordinating information, documentation, follow-ups, and administrative processes.
Coordinate schedules, appointments, confirmations, reminders, and other activities that keep projects and teams on track.
Maintain accurate records using Excel, Google Sheets, and internal business systems.
Prepare reports, business documents, templates, presentations, and other materials that support ongoing initiatives.
Organise digital files and information so that teams can access what they need quickly and efficiently.
Assist with projects by coordinating tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring important details are followed through.
Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or areas for improvement and work with the team to find practical solutions.
Take initiative when priorities change, helping the team respond quickly and keeping work moving forward.
Work closely with colleagues across different responsibilities, contributing wherever support is needed.
Learn from experienced professionals through ongoing guidance, feedback, and hands-on involvement in real business activities.
What You'll Gain
First-hand experience of how professional businesses operate behind the scenes.
Practical experience contributing to real projects and operational processes.
Stronger organisation, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Greater confidence managing responsibilities and working independently.
Hands-on experience with Excel, Google Sheets, documentation systems, and business processes.
A stronger understanding of how individual responsibilities contribute to wider team and business outcomes.
Experience working in an environment where collaboration, initiative, and continuous improvement are valued.
Mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals who are invested in your development.
A professional mindset that prepares you to take on greater responsibility in future roles.
Valuable experience to strengthen your résumé and prepare you for future opportunities in business, operations, administration, finance, and project coordination.
Who We Want
We’re looking for people who want to contribute, learn, and grow — not simply complete a checklist of tasks.
The right fit is someone who takes pride in their work, cares about the people they work with, and understands that even the smallest responsibilities can have an impact on the wider team. You should be willing to learn from mistakes, step up when something needs to be done, and continuously look for ways to become better at what you do.
Ideal candidates are:
Organised and detail-oriented, with high standards for the quality of their work.
Dependable and committed to following through on responsibilities.
Proactive in identifying what needs to be done rather than always waiting for instructions.
Resourceful and willing to work through challenges to find practical solutions.
Adaptable when priorities change or new situations arise.
Clear, thoughtful, and professional in their communication.
Open to feedback and willing to learn from the people around them.
Supportive teammates who understand the importance of contributing to the success of others.
Curious about how businesses work and interested in improving the way things are done.
Ready to grow beyond simply executing instructions and develop the judgement to think for themselves.
Previous administrative experience is not required. We value a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, attention to detail, and the desire to contribute over prior experience.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
As positions are limited, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
