We are seeking a proactive and committed Safety Coordinator to support reclamation and associated marine and land formation works. The role will assist in maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements, and supporting safe and efficient site operations.

Responsibilities

•            Implement and maintain project SOPs, safe work procedures and safety requirements for reclamation, marine and land formation activities.

•            Work closely with the Safety Officer and project team to implement and monitor safety measures and control site risks.

•            Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe practices and non-compliance, and follow up on corrective actions.

•            Promote and enforce safe work practices among workers, subcontractors and site personnel.

•            Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings and WSH inductions for project personnel.

•            Assist in preparing and reviewing risk assessments, safe work procedures and method statements for reclamation and site activities.

•            Monitor compliance with project safety requirements, including activities involving soil improvement, filling, dredging, marine works and heavy equipment, where applicable.

•            Maintain safety records, inspection reports and other WSH documentation.

•            Support the project team in addressing safety issues and implementing practical measures to improve site safety.

Required Competencies and Certifications

•            Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), Singapore.

•            Knowledgeof Singapore WSH requirements and workplace safety practices.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

•            Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or site experience in reclamation, marine, land formation or related construction projects.

•            Familiarity with safety requirements for marine and land-based project operations.

•            Experience in conducting risk assessments, site inspections and implementing safe workprocedures.

•            Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

•            Basic proficiency in MS Office for safety documentation and reporting.
