Description and Requirements
Job Requirements:
Mainly focus on server firmware engineering, including BMC, UEFI, RAS or Rack Manager.
Identify, review design and NUDD documents, and deliver test cases, plans regarding product specifications.
Conduct, monitor and manage test execution.
Active defect reporting, analysis and tracking.
Own the quality of assigned programs and ensure the outputs fulfill customers’ satisfaction.
Identify in-house/industry test requirement documents and provide automation initiatives.
Background:
Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS, CE, EE or equivalent work experience.
Ability to study open standards and new technologies.
Ability to debug and resolve difficult technical problems and strong troubleshooting skills.
Ability to determine the feasibility of projects in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
Ability to anticipate problems proactively and take appropriate actions to mitigate negative impact.
Ability to work within a team environment as well as ability to work independently.
Have proven experience defining server firmware test cases and tailoring test plans.
Minimum 3 years’ experience with server firmware (BMC, UEFI, RAS or Rack Manager) function testing; experiences involving project management will be a plus.
Familiar with test automation and implementation.
Experienced in FW development would be the best.
Must be self-motivated, flexible, and willing to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
