This role is suitable for a hands-on project professional with strong technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and experience managing construction projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Strong and proven experience in structural works.
• Experience managing residential, commercial, or high-rise construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural systems, materials, and construction methods.
• Familiarity with local authority requirements and construction regulations.
• Good understanding of Bill of Quantities (BQ), tendering, and cost control.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Results-driven with a strong sense of accountability.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Site Management

• Oversee and manage daily site progress to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Plan and manage project timelines, manpower, resources, and budgets.
• Monitor site teams and contractors to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Maintain daily site records, including progress tracking and photo documentation.

Cost & Contract Management

• Review and verify Bill of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and tender documents.
• Liaise with suppliers to request and compare quotations.
• Prepare cost comparisons and provide recommendations to Management.

Coordination with QS & Stakeholders

• Work closely with Quantity Surveyors on progress claims, valuations, and certifications.
• Ensure Variation Orders (VOs) are properly evaluated, documented, and approved.
• Support cost analysis for materials, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure construction activities comply with applicable construction standards, safety regulations, and local authority requirements.
• Monitor workmanship quality and structural integrity.
• Identify and resolve site issues promptly to prevent project delays.
• Ensure project works are completed according to required quality and safety standards.

Working Location

Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
