Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- 5–8 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Strong and proven experience in structural works.
- Experience managing residential, commercial, or high-rise construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural systems, materials, and construction methods.
- Familiarity with local authority requirements and construction regulations.
- Good understanding of Bill of Quantities (BQ), tendering, and cost control.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Results-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Site Management
- Oversee and manage daily site progress to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Plan and manage project timelines, manpower, resources, and budgets.
- Monitor site teams and contractors to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Maintain daily site records, including progress tracking and photo documentation.
Cost & Contract Management
- Review and verify Bill of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and tender documents.
- Liaise with suppliers to request and compare quotations.
- Prepare cost comparisons and provide recommendations to Management.
Coordination with QS & Stakeholders
- Work closely with Quantity Surveyors on progress claims, valuations, and certifications.
- Ensure Variation Orders (VOs) are properly evaluated, documented, and approved.
- Support cost analysis for materials, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure construction activities comply with applicable construction standards, safety regulations, and local authority requirements.
- Monitor workmanship quality and structural integrity.
- Identify and resolve site issues promptly to prevent project delays.
- Ensure project works are completed according to required quality and safety standards.
