Job Summary:
Organize the logistic planning & shipment operations in compliance with the customer commitments, finding the optimal balance between service level, costs, and stocks.
Job Descriptions:
1. Planning
- Plans and optimizes loads in accordance with delivery dates, filling rates, and customer requirements.
- Analyses and treats anomalies.
2. Transportation
- Organizes the transportation (chartering & slot booking) according to the needs.
- Ensures the availability and compliance of all transport, billing, and Customs documents.
- Validates purchasing invoices and treats discrepancies.
3. Execution Monitoring
- Monitors the execution of deliveries to ensure compliance with the delivery timescales.
- Proactively alerts the relevant partners in case of any event, delay, or failure regarding the service commitment and engages in the search for a solution to the customer.
- Applies corrective actions in the relevant applications.
- Informs and follows up with the relevant partners.
- Monitors OE customers for C3 Exemption.
- Maintains a database of all imported tyres that are used on the road to have a copy of the e-Certificate or DOT letter.
- Ensures all customs documents are returned back for filing and maintains a record when those documents are ready to be archived.
4. Work Methods
- Applies current methods and work instructions for all customs processes (includes duty drawbacks), stock adjustments, stock transfer, and export shipment including Domestic for Sabah & Sarawak and stock.
- Prepares monthly reports like GIT Report, Shipment Lead Time Report, QOH + GIT + Putaway Report, GTC Cost Saving Report, C3 Reports & SURF Report.
- Contributes to continuous improvement to enhance work methods, results, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Logistic/Business Administration/International Business background
- 1 year experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Import/Export, or Shipping
- Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications may also be considered.
- Basic knowledge of shipment coordination, customs documentation, and transportation is an advantage.
