Our client is an established electrical / E&M engineering company and is currently expanding its project team.

They are looking for Project Engineer / Project Manager candidates with experience in electrical engineering, E&M projects, low-voltage systems, switchboards, control panels or related engineering projects.

Candidates with stronger project ownership and management experience may be considered for Project Manager level.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle electrical / E&M projects from project commencement through completion
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors and internal technical teams
• Monitor project progress, schedule, quality and site activities
• Prepare project documentation, technical submissions, quotations and progress reports
• Review drawings, technical specifications and project requirements
• Follow up material / equipment delivery and site installation
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover
• Attend site meetings and resolve project / technical issues
• Monitor project cost and variation where required
• Ensure projects are completed according to agreed timeline, specifications and safety requirements

For Project Manager level

• Take ownership of project planning and delivery
• Lead / supervise Project Engineers and site teams
• Manage client expectations and commercial communication
• Coordinate multiple stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Handle project risks, variations and major technical / site issues

Requirements

• Higher Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, E&M Engineering or related discipline
• Relevant experience in Electrical / E&M / Engineering Project Management
• Experience in any of the following would be highly preferred:
• Low Voltage Switchboard / LV Switchboard
• Distribution Board / Control Panel
• Electrical installation
• Testing & Commissioning
• Power distribution
• E&M contractor / engineering projects
• Able to read technical drawings / electrical drawings
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Able to handle project progress independently
• Good command of Cantonese and English
• Candidates with less experience may be considered as Project Engineer
• Candidates with stronger project management and client-facing experience may be considered as Project Manager

Candidates with direct LV switchboard experience will be given priority consideration.
