About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to support our business growth through technical sales, customer engagement, and solution-driven consultation. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy combining engineering knowledge with customer interaction and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, develop, and win new business opportunities with strategic customers across Singapore.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with R&D, Quality, Engineering, and Procurement teams to understand customer needs and position Weiss Technik's solutions effectively.
• Develop strategic account plans and focus on high-value opportunities with long-term growth potential, rather than simply responding to RFQs.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, customer visits, solution development, quotation preparation, negotiation, order closure, and after-sales follow-up.
• Work closely with internal engineering, service, and project teams to deliver outstanding customer experience and successful project execution.
• Continuously expand technical knowledge of Weiss Technik products, customer applications, and industry trends to provide value-added solutions.
• Understand customer challenges, communicate the value of our solutions, and differentiate Weiss Technik through technical excellence, reliability, and service rather than competing on price alone.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare sales reports and forecasts.

What We’re Looking For

• Certification, Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (HVAC knowledge).
• At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B equipment environments.
• A strong hunter mentality with a proven track record of developing new accounts and generating new business opportunities.
• High level of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering results.
• Strategic and commercially driven, with the ability to identify high-potential opportunities and develop long-term growth plans.
• A fast learner who can quickly understand technical products, customer applications, and emerging technologies.
• Strong track record in customer relationship management.
• Exceptional presentation and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non‑technical audiences. Understanding of environmental test chambers or refrigeration systems are a plus.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, independent, and customer‑focused.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.
• Willing to travel within Singapore.
