Job Summary

We are looking for a Frontend Developer who can build and maintain enterprise web applications while collaborating closely with backend teams, architects, QA, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate is technically strong, proactive, and capable of working across multiple domains to deliver high-quality software that meets business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using Angular, JavaScript, and Node.js to deliver responsive, user-friendly interfaces
• Build and maintain Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services to support frontend functionality and improve system integration
• Collaborate with backend developers to define APIs, data contracts, and service integrations ensuring seamless communication between systems
• Work across multiple domains and systems to ensure end-to-end functionality and consistent user experience
• Perform unit testing and support integration testing to verify software quality and functionality
• Troubleshoot application issues by diagnosing root causes across frontend and backend interactions to ensure system stability
• Review business requirements and proactively clarify ambiguities to align development with stakeholder expectations
• Ensure delivered solutions comply with project standards, coding guidelines, and acceptance criteria for maintainability and quality
• Participate in design discussions and provide technical recommendations to improve architecture and implementation
• Support deployment activities, defect fixing, and production issue investigations to maintain application reliability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance code quality and team practices

Required competencies and certifications

• Strong experience with Angular, JavaScript, and Node.js for frontend development
• Proven experience developing enterprise web applications with scalable UI architecture and responsive design
• Experience building or maintaining Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services to optimize frontend-backend interactions
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs to enable data exchange between services
• Experience writing unit tests to ensure code reliability and prevent regressions
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems to support modular application design
• Working knowledge of messaging platforms such as Solace or Kafka for asynchronous communication
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies to collaborate effectively in iterative delivery
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex application issues
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work productively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple stakeholders to meet project goals

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with Java and Quarkus for backend service development
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as Keycloak to secure applications
• Experience working with Oracle Database, SQL, and cloud-native or containerized applications for scalable data management
• 5 day week @ AMK Area
• Able to start work immediately or on very short period preferred
