About our client : Our client is a leading global pharmaceutical company.

About the role :

• Execute end-to-end Computer System Validation (CSV) lifecycle activities including Risk Assessments, Validation Plans, Traceability Matrices, Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), Performance Qualification (PQ), FAT/SAT support, and Validation Reports.
• Perform qualification and validation of PLC/SCADA hardware infrastructure and software applications, including PLCs, I/O systems, HMI terminals, SCADA servers, workstations, industrial networks, switches, and virtualised environments.
• Validate PLC control logic and SCADA applications, including ladder logic, function block diagrams (FBD), structured text (ST), sequential function charts (SFC), alarms, interlocks, HMI graphics, alarm management, historian functions, audit trails, security roles, and electronic signatures.
• Support commissioning, qualification, and validation activities while managing deviations, discrepancies, change controls, and validation documentation.
• Ensure complete traceability from User Requirement Specifications (URS) through testing and validation completion.
• Perform verification of data integrity and cybersecurity controls, including audit trails, user account management, security roles, electronic signatures, backup and restore functionality, and time synchronisation.
• Support integration activities with MES and OSI PI Historian systems.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, change control reviews, FAT/SAT activities, and vendor documentation reviews.
• Collaborate with Automation, CQV, Quality, IT, Manufacturing teams, and external vendors to ensure successful system qualification and compliance.

About you:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Computer System Validation (CSV) of PLC and SCADA systems within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other GMP-regulated environments.
• Proven experience in qualifying automation hardware infrastructure and validating PLC software code and SCADA applications.
• Strong knowledge of GAMP 5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Annex 11, and GMP Data Integrity requirements.
• Experience with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Schneider, or Mitsubishi.
• Experience with SCADA platforms such as WinCC, FactoryTalk, AVEVA/Wonderware, Ignition, or iFIX.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols including OPC, Profinet, Profibus, Modbus TCP/IP, and Ethernet/IP.
• Experience validating alarms, interlocks, recipes, data collection, reporting, and system interfaces.
• DeltaV CSV experience is highly desirable.
• Experience in GMP manufacturing, utilities, packaging, process automation systems, CQV/commissioning activities, or industrial cybersecurity will be advantageous.
