Lead assigned R&D projects and technology development initiatives.
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to achieve high performance, quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Design and execute experiments (DOE) to characterize, evaluate, and optimize new products, materials, processes, and technologies.
Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies to support product and technology development.
Analyze process and product data to identify opportunities for improvement and establish robust process windows.
Evaluate and qualify new materials, equipment, manufacturing methods, and technologies.
Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation plans during technology and product development.
Support engineering builds, prototype runs, and qualification activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Equipment, Process Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure successful project execution.
Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, reports, specifications, and development records.
Facilitate technology transfer and ensure smooth transition of developed solutions into volume manufacturing.
Provide technical support during product introduction and ramp-up phases to achieve stable production performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, quality, productivity, and reliability.
Required Experience andQualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
Strong project planning, execution, monitoring, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of product development, process development, manufacturing principles, and quality systems.
Experience in Design of Experiments (DOE), statistical analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
Familiarity with process characterization, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis methodologies.
Strong technical documentation and report-writing skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in the semiconductor, electronics, advanced manufacturing, or related industries is preferred.
Willingness to travel for training, project support, or technology transfer activities as required.
