About the Role

We are seeking a Site Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and supervision of construction activities on site. The role is suitable for fresh Civil Engineering graduates who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in site operations, technical coordination, and project execution.

Job Scope

• Monitor site supervisors, workers, and subcontractors to ensure works are carried out according to approved procedures, drawings, and workmanship standards.

• Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of completed works and report any discrepancies to the project team.

• Coordinate with the Technical team, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve drawing and site-related issues.

• Assist in preparing method statements, work instructions, technical submissions, and documents related to structural works.

• Support the planning of construction activities, including work schedules, construction methods, and manpower, material, and equipment requirements.

• Monitor the use of site resources and help minimise material wastage and unnecessary costs.

• Identify potential issues affecting project progress and recommend corrective actions to the relevant teams.

• Ensure all site works comply with project quality standards and workplace safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

• No prior full-time working experience is required; relevant internship or industrial attachment experience is acceptable.

• Basic knowledge of construction methods, structural works, and engineering drawings.

• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work effectively with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, and site personnel.

• Willing to work at the project site and learn across different stages of construction.
