Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Civil & Structural Engineer to support the design, engineering, and construction of 230kV Transmission Cable Infrastructure Projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for civil and structural engineering activities, design reviews, construction supervision, quality assurance, contractor coordination, and ensuring compliance with Singapore engineering standards, project specifications, and statutory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• ️ Prepare, review, and coordinate civil and structural engineering designs for transmission cable infrastructure projects.
• Review engineering drawings, structural calculations, construction details, and technical specifications.
• Supervise civil and structural construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project requirements.
• Monitor project progress, engineering deliverables, construction quality, and site productivity.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and utility authorities.
• Conduct site inspections, identify engineering issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure structural works comply with Singapore building regulations, engineering standards, and safety requirements.
• Prepare engineering reports, technical submissions, inspection reports, and project documentation.
• • ️ Review method statements, risk assessments, and construction methodologies.
• Support project planning, material coordination, variation management, and contract administration.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Support project testing, commissioning, and final project handover.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore .

Experience

• ️ Minimum 5 years of Civil & Structural Engineering experience.
• ️ Minimum 2 years of experience in 230kV transmission cable , infrastructure, or utility projects.
• ️ Experience in civil and structural design, construction supervision, and site coordination.
• ️ Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel, foundations, and underground utility works.
• ️ Experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• ️ Familiarity with Singapore engineering codes, statutory requirements, and construction practices is preferred.
