Job Purpose

The role is to:

• Lead actions to improve the quality perceived by our customers.

• Lead analysis and reporting actions related to customer technical requests, including complaints and irritants.

• Maintain and improve Quality processes.

Significant Activities

• Measure and analyze the quality performance perceived by our customers.

• Drive and manage continuous improvement actions to increase the perception of quality by our customers.

• Structure communication for technical requests coming from customers, in connection with internal organizations and by applying defined Quality processes.

• Launch internal 8Ds following customer complaints by providing a clear description of the problem as seen by the customer, then participate in progress meetings by providing the customer's perspective.

• Maintain a strong relationship with the FAE team and the customers where applicable for proactive, fluid and efficient communication.

• Keep tracking files (CRM) up to date regarding ongoing requests and action plans.

• Understand the customers expectations and be the voice of the customer into the internal instances

• Synthesize and present (share) the status of their activity periodically. Alert on blocking points.

• Define ‘Best Known Method’ packages based on his/her experience and share them as operational process CIPs to the team

• Propose synthesis within his/her scope to management and/or leader.

• Perform internal product audits.

• Keep Quality tools up to date with the support of IT or external suppliers (within the defined contractual framework).

• Attend specific training on Tools if necessary.

Responsibilities and Latitude of Action

• Be autonomous in driving actions, reporting and applying standard processes.

• Organize their activity according to priorities defined by operational needs.

• Control the proper execution of action plans and procedures.

• Represent the voice of the customer in operational instances (MRB, XXRB, etc.).

• Guarantee the traceability of actions and their sharing within the team and/or with internal and external interfaces.

Knowledge (theoretical and practical)

• Master's degree level (Physics, Chemistry, Materials, Processes, QHSE, Production Management, etc.) and/or professional experience in a similar job.

• Know the quality standards to which the company is committed.

• Master various Quality methodologies (SPC, 5 Whys, 8D, GED, ISO9001, VDA, DMAIC, audits, etc.).

• Master various IT tools (ERP, statistical analysis tools, non-conformity management tools, electronic document management, etc.).

• Know project management and crisis management methodologies.

• Know the manufacturing processes and Soitec's products and applications.

• Know problem-solving methodologies and quality processes.

Working Relationships

• Cooperate with all internal and external stakeholders (other Soitec sites or external to Soitec).

• Coordinate the transmission of technical information within their scope to their interfaces.

• Participate in and/or lead transverse working groups.
