Contacthings is a Penang-based engineering company specializing in automated test solutions, thermal control systems, and custom equipment development for the semiconductor industry. We provide end to-end support — from test sockets and fixtures to automation equipment and instrumentation.

Job Description:

We are looking for proactive, and detail oriented Inside Sales to support sales operations, customer inquiries, quotation preparation, and basic sourcing activities. This role will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, timely follow-ups, and excellent customer support while contributing to overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities

·       Handle customer enquiries, RFQs, and sales coordination activities in a timely and professional manner.

·       Prepare, issue, and follow up on quotations, sales orders, and delivery schedules to ensure smooth order processing.

·       Support the Sales team in maintaining and strengthening customer relationships and driving business growth.

·       Perform basic sourcing activities including supplier inquiries, price comparisons, and material availability checks.

·       Coordinate with suppliers, purchasers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

·       Monitor customer orders, delivery timelines, and proactively follow up to resolve delays or issues.

·       Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, and documentation while supporting business development and administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

·       Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline.

·       Minimum 1 year of experience in inside sales, sales support, customer service, sourcing, or related commercial roles. Fresh graduate are encourage to apply.

·       Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills with a customer-focused mindset.

·       Basic understanding of sourcing and procurement processes is an added advantage.

·       Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

·       Experience in IT industries is highly preferred.
