Role Description
The Technology and Operations Support Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. Covalent Capital’s Operations team is the backbone of our business stability and evolution. We are seeking a proactive Technology and Operation Support Specialist to support the smooth execution of our platform activities. This role is dynamic and multifaceted, spanning three core pillars: acting as an Internal Office Technology Support Specialist, a Change & Control Agent to support platform development and mitigate operational risk; and providing Platform Support to ensure daily business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Internal Office Technology Support
- Manage internal employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning/removing system access for internal and external platforms.
- Maintain IT asset inventories, including end-user devices and software licenses, ensuring alignment with security guidelines.
- Go-to person to manage the technical and administrative tasks involved in the planning, installation and maintenance of the office’s hardware and software
2. Change & Control Agent
- Manage the JIRA ticketing lifecycle, including translating client feedback into Requirements Documentation for technology teams.
- Validate product enhancements by conducting use case testing during and after every sprint, ensuring items are comprehensively tested and operational before deploying to production.
- Monitor and documenting operational control workflows and identify control risk gaps, issues or exceptions for timely resolution.
- Perform periodic internal control reviews to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate firmwide related critical security exercises, including BCP/DRP tests.
3. Platform Support (Business as Usual):
- Serve as the first responder for user queries, coordinating internal efforts to determine root causes and remediation steps.
- Execute organization and user onboarding/offboarding to the platform.
- Manage email distribution controls, including bounce-back management and user subscription requests.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 1-3 years working experience in finance or technology related industry. Prior experience in IT support role, with experience in fintech is a major plus.
- Possess solid Information Technology skills, including familiarity with web-based platforms, basic troubleshooting, and comfort working with data-driven systems.
- Ability to interpret, analyze, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Possess good communication skill, including verbal, written and telephone etiquette.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace.
- Able to interact well in a team environment, and a strong desire to learn and able to follow policies and procedures
