Process Engineer

A.        Primary job function

1.  To perform maintenance and repairing of jigs and fixtures on the production floor.

2. To generate standard time for any new model.

3. To carry out process evaluation when required.

4. Maintain and update standard time due to the change of process.

5. To generate loading base on the BOM given.

6. Work closely with other department as to resolve all process related issue,

7. Generate pwi base on Engineering sample, BOM, Engineering specification and QC criteria.

8. Co-ordinate the standard time with planning department and production department. 

9. Produce the time study and costing of product upon requested.

10. Proper recording and filing of auditable documents.

11. Provide full support on new product trial run.

12. To audit in-charged products on daily basis.

 B.        Duties and responsibilities

1. To carry out job as instructed by supervisor.

2. To assist other department when there is a need.

3. To ensure good house keeping and always aware of safety requirement.

4. To fabricate jig and fixture when there is a need to improve the processes.

5. To keep track on all the jigs and fixtures.

6. Ensure lines are well balance.

7. Raise part requisition form for any particular job or services.

8. Liaise with vendor / supplier / customer when there is a need.

9. Attend product meeting and quality meeting when require.

10. Liaise with purchasing department on item requested

11. Conduct training for new operator from production.

 C.        Qualification and requirement

1.a       Bachelor degree in electronic or electrical engineering 

1.b        Diploma holder in electronic or electrical engineering with at least 3 years                
             experience in the same line  

1.c        Certificate in any engineering field
