Job Summary

The Production Executive is responsible for leading daily assembly production operations, ensuring production targets, quality requirements, and delivery commitments are achieved. The role requires strong leadership and people management skills to effectively supervise line leaders and operators, drive workforce performance, maintain discipline, and foster a positive and productive work environment in compliance with ISO 13485 requirements.

Preferred Education, Experience & Competencies

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven experience managing a production workforce of 50 or more operators.
• Experience leading line leaders, supervisors, and production teams in a fast-paced assembly environment.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, electronics, or other regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.

• Experience handling employee relations, attendance management, discipline, and performance management.

Job Responsibilities

Production Operations

• Manage day-to-day assembly line operations.
• Ensure production output meets daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Monitor production performance and take corrective actions when required.
• Ensure production follows approved work instructions and SOPs.
• Coordinate production activities to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Support production scheduling and order fulfillment requirements.
• Escalate production issues and implement corrective actions promptly.

Line Balancing & Productivity

• Perform line balancing to optimize manpower utilization and production flow.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase throughput.
• Monitor cycle time, productivity, and line efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.

Manpower Management

• Plan and allocate operators according to production requirements.
• Lead, coach, and supervise supervisors, team leaders and operators.
• Manage attendance, discipline, training, and skill development of production personnel.
• Conduct daily shift briefings and production meetings.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 Quality Management System requirements.
• Ensure production records are completed accurately and in accordance with GDP requirements.
• Maintain product traceability and batch history records.
• Support internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Ensure nonconforming products are identified, segregated, and reported appropriately.
• Participate in CAPA investigations and implementation of corrective actions.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate closely with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Planning departments.
• Support validation activities, process changes, and new product introductions.
• Ensure materials and resources are available for production execution.

Reporting

• Prepare and analyze daily production reports.
• Monitor and report key production KPIs.
• Present production performance and improvement initiatives to management.
