AI Application Engineer – AI Portfolio & Acceleration Squad

Location: Singapore

Experience: 7+ Years

We are looking for a hands-on AI Application Engineer to transform AI prototypes into secure, scalable, and production-ready applications. You will design, build, and deploy AI-enabled solutions while driving responsible AI adoption across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Refactor AI prototypes into production-grade applications with clean architecture and secure coding practices.
• Design and develop AI-powered applications, including chatbots, RAG solutions, AI agents, workflow automation, and business applications.
• Build full-stack solutions using modern frontend, backend, APIs, and cloud-native technologies.
• Integrate Azure AI services, enterprise APIs, and internal data sources.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization, monitoring, observability, and production support.
• Apply responsible AI practices, including prompt management, content safety, security, and governance.
• Collaborate with product, platform, security, and business teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with enterprise or cloud-native applications.
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, .NET, Java, and REST APIs.
• Experience building AI applications using LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, vector search, AI agents, and workflow automation.
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Azure Machine Learning, Azure App Service, Container Apps, API Management, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Docker, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, and secure software development practices.
• Strong understanding of AI security risks, governance, observability, and production readiness.
• Preferred
• Experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar AI frameworks.
• Knowledge of vector databases (Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Cosmos DB, pgvector) and Microsoft 365/Graph integrations.
• Experience with AI evaluation, responsible AI controls, SRE, and public sector or regulated environments.
