A leading global company in the semiconductor industry is looking for an experienced
Senior Commodity Manager to join its supply chain organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, leading contract negotiations, and driving cost savings across assigned commodity categories. You will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to ensure a reliable and competitive supplier base.
You will also support supplier development, risk management, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives to help meet business and operational goals.

Job Description
- Develop and execute commodity strategies aligned with business objectives, product roadmaps, and market conditions.
- Define sourcing strategies, supplier selection plans, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships, including contract negotiations, pricing, and performance management.
- Ensure continuity of supply while maintaining cost competitiveness and operational performance.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Planning, and NPI teams.
- Drive supplier development and continuous improvement programs focused on cost, quality, delivery, and lead time reduction.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) activities and production ramp readiness.
- Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supply chain risks while providing recommendations to leadership teams.
- Resolve complex supply and operational challenges through structured problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
- Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to track cost savings and supplier performance metrics.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in commodity management, strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven experience managing supplier relationships and commercial negotiations.
- Experience working within complex global or multi-regional supply chain environments.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
