Job Description

• Oversee and manage contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and contracts to secure favourable terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between procurement strategies and business needs.
• Monitor contract performance and address any discrepancies or disputes effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of all contractual agreements and relevant documentation.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on procurement and contract management processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and legal requirements related to procurement and supply chain contracts.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commodity Manager: Infrastructure & Construction should have:

• Relevant educational qualifications in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in contract management within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple contracts simultaneously.
• Knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for contract and supply chain management.
