Role Description The Design Engineer will work on-site in Sarawak, Malaysia in a full-time capacity, contributing to civil and structural engineering projects from concept through detailed design and implementation. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing design drawings and calculations, developing engineering solutions, and collaborating with project teams to ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes. The role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, addressing technical issues during design and construction, and supporting project documentation, specifications, and reports. The Design Engineer will also participate in site visits, design reviews, and value engineering activities to optimize project outcomes and support timely, cost-effective delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years working experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registered with Board of Engineers (BEM).
• Experience in preparing engineering calculations, design reports, construction drawings, quantity take-offs and tender documents.
• Familiar with JKR Road Design Standards.
