A minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field), Construction Management, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
At least ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in quality assurance and quality control, preferably in railway, transit, or other transportation-related projects.
A minimum of fifteen (15) years of total professional experience in the engineering and construction industry.
Experience must be in a managerial or leadership role within a QA/QC department for large-scale infrastructure or system packages.
Job Description:
Management & Strategy: Report directly to the Project Director and Project Manager. Responsible for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving the Project Quality Management System.
Document Control: Oversee the development, submission, and approval of the Project Quality Plan, Project Quality Programme, and all related QA/QC procedures.
Process Monitoring: Monitor project execution to ensure all processes align with the PQP and control procedures. Oversee quality control activities including inspections, testing, and site walkabouts.
Audit Management: Initiate and lead the internal quality audit program. Plan and execute external quality audits for suppliers and subcontractors in coordination with the procurement department.
Performance Reporting: Responsible for producing and submitting the QA/QC performance indicator report, monitoring KPIs related to NCR closure, document submissions, and WIR compilation.
Continuous Improvement: Promote and manage continual improvement activities, including corrective actions resulting from non-conformities and management reviews.
