Software Engineer – C++ | Singapore

Location: Singapore

Experience: Software Engineering / C++ Systems Development

Employment Terms: Full-time

The Role

Join a proprietary high-frequency trading environment where speed, efficiency and reliability are critical to success. You’ll work at the intersection of sophisticated financial markets and low-level systems engineering, helping build and optimize the next generation of high-frequency trading infrastructure.

Responsibilities And Priorities

• Design and implement high-efficiency, low-latency trading infrastructure, including market data feed handlers and exchange execution gateways.
• Build sophisticated risk-management systems and real-time performance-tracking tools.
• Architect scalable and resilient system interfaces to support evolving trading strategies.
• Develop systems providing access to historical market data and trading simulations.
• Build and maintain internal tools for analysing large datasets, market patterns and performance metrics.
• Optimise trading platforms through network and systems programming to achieve nanosecond-level performance improvements.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including rigorous testing and documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• Strong foundations in C++ and object-oriented programming, including memory management.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and computational complexity.
• Familiarity with Linux and networking concepts including TCP/IP and UDP.
• Exposure to Python or Bash/Shell scripting for automation and data analysis.
• Strong problem-solving ability and a genuine interest in building extremely fast and robust systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Existing right to work in Singapore is required, visa sponsorship is not available.
