The Tea Republic is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Order Processing Admin to join our operations team on a 3-month fixed-term contract.

This position is being created to provide additional operational support while a team member is on extended medical leave.

This is a hands-on, full-time, on-site role. Consistent attendance, accuracy and follow-through are essential because the position supports daily order processing and fulfilment.

There may be an opportunity to extend the contract or discuss a longer-term position depending on business needs and performance.

**What You'll Be Responsible For

1. Order Processing & Fulfilment

• Process and coordinate customer orders accurately and on time
• Check order details, quantities, product requirements and delivery information
• Coordinate with the team to ensure orders are prepared correctly
• Prepare and organise documents required for order fulfilment
• Book and coordinate courier deliveries
• Track shipments and follow up on outstanding deliveries
• Identify missing information or issues that may delay an order and bring them to the relevant team member's attention

2. Inventory & Stock

• Conduct regular inventory counts
• Update stock records accurately
• Reconcile stock discrepancies
• Highlight low-stock items and potential shortages
• Assist with stock preparation and movement related to customer orders

3. Office & Operational Administration

• Maintain accurate digital and physical order records
• Perform data entry and update operational trackers
• Maintain organised documentation for order-related matters
• Support routine office and operational administration
• Maintain records required for our MeSTI processes

**Hands-On Operations

This is not a purely desk-based administrative role.

You should be comfortable assisting with practical operational tasks such as:

• Packing tea products
• Folding gift boxes
• Tying ribbons
• Preparing orders for dispatch
• Organising stock and work areas

**What We Are Looking For

• Are willing to perform both administrative and hands-on operational work
• Take ownership of tasks from start to completion

**Reliability Is Essential

Because this role is supporting daily operations during a team member's extended absence, consistent attendance is an important requirement of the position.

You must be available to work Monday–Friday, 10:00am–6:00pm throughout the 3-month contract period.

Prior experience in any of the following would be an advantage:

• Order processing

• Retail
• E-commerce
• Inventory management
• Warehouse or fulfilment
• Food & beverage operations

Candidates without direct order-processing experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong organisational skills, reliability and willingness to learn.

**Food Handling Requirements

As our products are tea products, the successful candidate must be willing to complete the required Food Handler Training and Typhoid vaccination requirements where applicable.

The Tea Republic will arrange and pay for these requirements.

Candidates who already hold valid certification may be able to commence more quickly.
