Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist music teachers in preparing and conducting individual and group lessons for children and adults.
- Support teachers with lesson preparation, teaching materials, instruments, and classroom setup.
- Assist students during lessons and activities, particularly younger students, to ensure they remain engaged and focused.
- Help maintain a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment for students.
- Assist teachers in monitoring students’ attendance, participation, and progress.
- Support students in preparing for music examinations, recitals, concerts, competitions, and other school performances.
- Able to work weekends.
- Communicate with teachers, students, and parents when required regarding lesson arrangements and school activities.
- Assist with the setup and coordination of recitals, concerts, workshops, and other school events.
- Ensure classrooms, instruments, and teaching areas are kept clean, organised, and properly maintained.
