About the Role

We are hiring Design Engineers and Drafters (Mechanical & Electrical disciplines) to support ongoing industrial equipment and electrical control projects in Johor. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with strong AutoCAD/SolidWorks skills who want to work on real-world fabrication, manufacturing, and installation projects — from concept drawing through to site execution.

Whether your background is in mechanical design (heavy equipment, fabrication) or electrical drafting (single-line, control panel schematics), we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare technical engineering drawings, layouts, schematics, and diagrams using CAD software (AutoCAD / SolidWorks)
• Translate written and verbal specifications from the design/engineering team into accurate 2D drawings or 3D models
• Check drawings for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with relevant industry standards and codes
• Collaborate closely with production, site, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Maintain and track all drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify and resolve design or drafting-related issues during fabrication, assembly, or installation
• Provide technical support to production and site teams as needed

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field)
• Proficiency in CAD software — AutoCAD required; SolidWorks preferred for mechanical design track
• Strong technical drawing, drafting, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken English

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
