A Day in Com-Aire

1. Source, negotiate, & purchase ACMV materials including refrigerant piping, underslab lay pipes, copper tubes, insulation materials, cables, brackets, ventilation ducting, and other general hardware.

2. Monitor construction site progress; coordinate closely with site supervisors to arrange phased material deliveries to avoid site congestion or installation downtime.

3. Request quotations, conduct cost comparisons, & negotiate favourable prices, payment terms, and credit limits with suppliers to maintain project profitability.

4. Issue POs accurately, verify delivery orders (DO) against invoices, & resolve any price or quantity discrepancies with vendors.

5. Evaluate supplier performance regularly based on delivery punctuality, material quality, & pricing stability; source alternative vendors to mitigate supply chain risks.

6. Keep accurate records of material expenditures per project to ensure procurement stays within budget.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably within the ACMV or Construction sector. (Fresh grads are welcome if willing to learn)
• Basic understanding of mechanical and engineering materials
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Strong negotiation skills, excellent organization, and the ability to interpret a project timeline/delivery schedule.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
