Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Report and assist the Project Manager on overall project functions including project management, site management, and risk control management to achieve project objectives.
  • Assist in project planning, implementation, and coordination of all construction activities according to the master work program and detailed schedule.
  • Prepare and submit project-related documentation such as work schedules, method statements, design plans, risk assessments, monthly progress reports, and technical submissions.
  • Supervise and monitor construction works to ensure compliance with contract specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), approved drawings, quality standards, Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) requirements, and contract documents.
  • Coordinate and liaise with Clients, Consultants, Authorities, Subcontractors, and Suppliers on project matters and technical issues.
  • Provide technical support and solutions to resolve design and site-related issues efficiently.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for all project correspondences, reports, and submissions.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, and safety standards to ensure timely completion of works.
  • Attend project meetings, site inspections, and coordination meetings when required.
  • Support the Project Manager in ensuring smooth project execution and compliance with statutory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in LTA, civil, building, or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
  • Familiar with construction drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
  • Good knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other engineering software.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
