A Hong Kong–based quantitative investment firm is looking to hire a Quantitative Trader to support and enhance their trading operations.

Role Summary

1. Oversee and execute the firm’s systematic trading strategies, working closely with both the research and technology teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
2. Continuously monitor portfolio behaviour, identify anomalies, and manage risk exposures in real time.
3. Partner with researchers to test, refine, and deploy new strategy ideas in a fast-moving market environment.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

1. Postgraduate degree in a quantitative or technical discipline (such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics).
2. Strong programming ability in at least one major language (Python preferred; Matlab, C++, or C# also welcome).
3. Robust understanding of financial markets and the ability to communicate clearly and operate effectively under pressure.
4. A proven track record in quantitative trading, ideally within a systematic or data-driven environment.
5. Prior experience working with trading systems, market data, or quantitative investment processes is a strong advantage.
