The Lead Data & BI Analyst role offers an exciting opportunity to lead financial data initiatives within the internet and fintech sector.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Requirements Management & Translation:

1. Act as the central coordinator for data analysis requirements across various departments. Responsible for clarifying needs, defining scope, and prioritizing requests. Translate ambiguous business challenges into actionable technical requirements and data models, serving as an effective bridge between business teams and the data/technology function.

BI System Planning & Management:

1. Oversee and manage the existing BI team and part-time data warehouse resources, while continuously optimizing workflows. Lead the development and maintenance of company-wide BI reports, data visualization dashboards, and management cockpits, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and usability of data.

Metrics Framework Development & Governance:

1. From a company-wide perspective, design and establish a unified core metrics framework, including metric definitions, calculation logic, and dimensional structures. Drive cross-functional data standardization and eliminate data silos.

Advanced Analytics & Decision Support:

1. Lead regular business performance analysis as well as in-depth thematic studies. Apply data mining and modeling techniques to identify business bottlenecks and growth opportunities. Deliver forward-looking insights and actionable recommendations to directly support management's strategic decision-making.

Team Leadership & Talent Development:

1. Manage the BI team's day-to-day operations, provide technical guidance, and build a strong talent pipeline. Continuously enhance the team's business acumen and technical delivery capabilities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Data & BI Lead should have:

• Strong expertise in financial analysis, data management, and reporting.
• 8 Years of BI or Data Analysis experience
• People management is a must
• A background in banking and financial services, ideally within the fintech or internet.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A track record of implementing data-driven strategies to improve financial outcomes.
• An understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
