Job Summary

This role requires hands-on expertise in cloud and container security, automation, and incident response to enhance and secure production environments using AWS, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.

Responsibilities

• Apply security patches and manage vulnerabilities across cloud and containerized environments to maintain system integrity
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline change and release management processes
• Automate server, CI/CD, and related operational tasks by developing and implementing scripts in Python and Bash
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration management
• Conduct threat detection and analysis using SIEM tools and log data to identify and respond to security incidents
• Execute incident response procedures and continuously improve security playbooks to enhance operational readiness
• Operate hands-on with AWS cloud services to support secure and scalable infrastructure

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Security certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty and Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist or equivalent are advantageous
