WHAT YOU NEED TO DO?
HR & ADMIN ASSISTANT – JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Human Resources (HR)
- Assist in recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Prepare HR documents such as offer letters, employment contracts, confirmation letters, and other employment-related documents.
- Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Monitor employee attendance, leave, overtime (OT), and medical leave records.
- Coordinate staff training programmes and HRDC claim applications.
- Assist in employee engagement activities and internal HR communications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment regulations.
- Support employee confirmation, performance appraisal, and other HR-related processes.
- Maintain HR databases and prepare HR reports as required.
- Perform any other HR-related duties assigned by the Management.
Administration
- Manage office supplies and stationery purchases.
- Handle incoming calls, emails and courier arrangements.
- Maintain filing systems and company records.
- Coordinate office maintenance and liaise with vendors.
- Prepare reports, meeting minutes and other administrative documents.
- Provide general administrative support to departments and management.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE?
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 1 – 2 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Experience in handling general administrative duties, including document control, filing, office supplies, and coordination with internal departments and external vendors.
- Good understanding of the Employment Act, Industrial Relations (IR), and HR best practices.
- Experience in attendance monitoring, overtime (OT) verification, payroll support, and HR documentation.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and HRIS systems.
- Able to multitask, prioritise work effectively, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- A proactive team player with a positive attitude, good communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
