Responsibilities:

• Plan Execution: Follow the approved lifting plan and make sure the crew does the same.
• Team Briefing: Run safety talks and explain risks to crane operators, riggers, and signalmen before work starts.
• Safety Checks: Verify ground conditions are safe, check load weights, and inspect all lifting gear and crane parts before use.
• Authority to Stop Work: Halt any dangerous or unsafe lifting activity immediately.

Authorities:

• Reject Equipment: Ban the use of damaged cranes, slings, hooks, or chains until fixed or replaced.
• Control Personnel: Direct riggers, signalmen, and crane operators, and bar untrained workers from the zone.
• Enforce Plans: Reject any lift that does not match the approved Safe Lifting Plan.
• Brief Crews: Hold safety talks with the lifting team before any major move.
• Check Papers: Verify that operators, riggers, and equipment have valid safety certificates and inspections.
• Inspect Site: Check ground conditions and clear the path for the load.

Academic Qualification: Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical trade background.

Skills & Experience:

• Know how to read load charts, understand weight physics, and communicate clearly via radio.
• Have 1 to 5 years of hands-on background working as a rigger, signalman, or in general lifting operations.
• Certification: Hold a valid local safety or lifting supervisor certificate (such as DOSH guidelines in Malaysia or equivalent regional standards).

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
