  • They have the responsibility to repair pipes and plumbing fixtures.
  • Plumbers must estimate the costs of installations and repairs.
  • They have to clear obstructions from sink drains and toilets.
  • Plumbers should have an idea of how to troubleshoot problems and decide how to fix them.
  • They must ensure the proper functioning of all the plumbing systems in an area. 
  • They have to follow building plans and blueprints.
  • They must be able to respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
  • They have to prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates.
