Act as the main technical advisor on site, interpreting blueprints and checking design calculations.
Setting out, leveling, and surveying the site to map out the construction footprint.
Supervising day-to-day site operations and monitoring contractor performance. Implementing strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across the site.
Conducting quality control inspections on materials, workmanship, and structural elements.
Resolving unexpected technical difficulties and design discrepancies on the spot.
Liaising with clients, architects, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
Preparing daily site reports, progress logs, material inventories, and technical documentation.
Requirements
Proven experience working as a Site Engineer or in a similar site-based construction role.
Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD) and surveying equipment.
Strong knowledge of building regulations, codes, and occupational health and safety laws.
Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and communication strengths.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
A valid driver's license and flexibility to travel or work on-site as required.
