Job Summary

You will design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise and web-based applications by translating user requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors throughout the SDLC to ensure quality and alignment with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse user requirements to translate them into detailed application specifications for enterprise and web-based systems
• Design application architecture and database solutions to meet business needs and ensure system scalability and security
• Develop REST and SOAP services and implement application features using relevant programming languages and frameworks
• Perform testing and quality assurance to validate application functionality and reliability before deployment
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to maintain system stability and performance
• Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement for deployed applications
• Collaborate effectively with business users, project teams, and vendors throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to deliver aligned solutions

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems analysis, database design, application development, implementation, and quality assurance
• Strong communication skills to independently gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to design effective application architectures and troubleshoot issues
• Project management and vendor management skills to coordinate development activities and external resources

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working on a previous Core2 project at ACN
• Experience building enterprise-scale web applications using Java, Spring, Angular, and relational databases
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and cloud-native application development

• Employment type: Contract - 24 months (renewable)
• Location: Novena, Singapore
• Working Hours: 8:30AM to 6:00PM (Mon-Fri)
• Salary: $6000 - 8000 per month (no bonus)
• Working Arrangement: Full Onsite/Hybrid
